Unfortunately once in a while a customer comes along who&#8217;s mean and difficult &#8211; what do you do?<\/p>\n<p>Someone recently posed this question to the Bitchy Waiter and I absolutely love his answer &#8211; kill him with kindness. While management can technically refuse service to anyone (and you should find out if that&#8217;s an option), usually you&#8217;ll have to just deal with the situation best you can, and by best, I mean over the top best.<\/p>\n<p>It puts you in control of the situation rather than letting his attitude control yours. Make it into a fun game and invite your coworkers to watch (secretly from a distance). Who knows, maybe his life took a bad turn and a little kindness could bandage his wounds.
