Be careful though &#8211; you don&#8217;t want coworkers to take advantage of your generosity either.<\/p>\n<p>Know as much about what you&#8217;re selling as possible, and upsell when you can. Being knowledgeable about the product and being able to continually sell pricier items are big wins in your boss&#8217;s book.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, none of this matters unless your boss notices your hard work.
