Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse service. We will notify users of any material changes to our policy by posting any updates on this webpage or via email. Your continued use of this website shall constitute acceptance of such revised policy.
Section 1: Instructor-led Class and ServSafe Exam Registrations
- Exam type will be ServSafe.
- One test attempt per payment.
- The prepaid discounted rate only applies when payment has been made in full prior to the day of the class.
- Check payments must be received and processed at least 3 business days prior to the scheduled class. If you choose this payment method, your seat in the class will not be reserved until payment is received, granted that there is still vacancy in the scheduled class upon receipt of payment.
- Walk-ins will be assessed a $40 fee. Only cash payments will be accepted for Saturday walk-in registrations.
- Students will be refused service if payment has not been received prior to the scheduled class.
- In the event a class is full and there are students with a balance, they will be removed from the class and their seat will be offered to any new students who are ready to pay the registration fee in full at that time.
- Neither the exam results nor the certificate will be released until all balances and/or fees have been fully paid.
- Disputing the Credit/Debit card charge will be assessed a Chargeback Penalty Fee of $25.
- Returned checks will be assessed a Returned Check Penalty Fee ($25).
- In order to be more environmentally friendly, Premier Food Safety will send out the PFS Study Guide via email. The cost of said study guide ($29) is non-refundable. Requests for the PFS Study Guide to be mailed will be assessed a Shipping Charge ($20).
- For cancellation requests, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded if notice is given more than 7 days prior to the scheduled class/exam date. No refunds/cancellation if notice is given less than 7 days prior to class/exam date.
- One courtesy reschedule is offered if advance notice is given more than 7 days prior to the class/exam date.
- Any class rescheduled or missed class is subject to a $25 Reschedule Fee. The rescheduled class must be within one year of the original payment date. Any reschedule past the one-year mark forfeits the registration fee. No refunds will apply in the event of a no-show. If the Reschedule Fee is not paid prior to the class, the fee is increased to $35.
- Instant Results Exam option is not refundable.
- If the student does not bring a valid government photo ID to class/exam or if the name on the ID does not match the name of the person registered, he/she will not be able to take the exam. The student must then call the office to reschedule the exam for a fee of $25.
- Test results and eCertificate will be delivered electronically in PDF format within 10 to 15 business days from the date the exam was taken. Student will be notified via email when his/her Food Manager Certificate is ready for download. Upon student's request, Premier Food Safety will mail a printed hard copy of the certificate at an additional cost.
- Unused registrations will be forfeited after one year of original payment date.
Premier Food Safety does not discriminate or deny opportunity to anyone on the grounds of sex, age, religion, race, marital status, parental status, status as a veteran, sexual orientation or nationality. We also provide reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If you have any special accommodation needs, please contact our office at least 15 days prior to your scheduled class/exam date.
Section 2: Pre-Paid Group Registrations
- Credit is valid only for 1 FULL YEAR from the date of original purchase/registration.
- $25 Reschedule Fee applies to rescheduled classes and missed classes.
- Neither the results nor certificate will be released until all payment or fees have been paid.
Section 3: Premier Training Guarantee Promotion (Instructor-Led Classes)
- We are confident that you will pass the certification exam after attending one of our classes. If you do not pass the 1st time, we will pay for your seat to attend our next training class and you will also qualify for a significantly discounted re-test rate.
- Applies only for instructor-led class registrations
- Valid only for FULL tuition registration (requires purchase of PFS study package)
- Student must attend FULL class to qualify.
- Only applies to the student that attended the original class. This offer is not transferable.
- Unpaid registrations void this guarantee
- Student must be registered and paid prior to exam date
- Retest must be taken within 3 months of original exam date. Per ServSafe’s policy, you may take the examination twice within 30 days. If you don’t pass your second attempt, you must wait at least 60 days from your most recent attempt before taking the exam again. No more than four attempts are allowed within a 12-month period.
- Reschedule fee will apply if retest date is missed.
- May not apply to corporate accounts or discounted registrations.
- Subject to change without notice.
Section 4: Food Manager Online Training
- Online training license is valid only for 1 FULL YEAR from the date of original purchase/registration.
- The Food Manager online training course is available in English only.
- If you do not pass the certification exam, you may retake our online course at no additional charge.
- No refunds once the training has been started.
Section 5 - Online ServSafe Exam (ProctorU)
- ServSafe Exam codes will be emailed within one business day from the date of purchase.
- ServSafe Exam codes are nonrefundable and nonreturnable.
- One test attempt included per exam code.
- Payment must be completed in order to receive an exam code.
- Disputing the Credit/Debit card charge will be assessed a Chargeback Penalty Fee of $25.
- Return checks are assessed a Returned Check Penalty Fee ($25).
- There is no expiration date on the ServSafe exam code.
- To schedule an exam appointment examinee must contact ProctorU directly.
- It is the examinee’s responsibility to ensure they meet minimum system requirements to take the exam.
- Online Exam is available in English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese.
- Examinee needs a valid government issued ID to take the exam.
- Test results and Certificate will be delivered electronically in PDF format by the third-party test provider (ServSafe). They are usually available immediately after submitting the exam for grading, but it can take up to 24 hours for the certificate to become available. Upon examinee’s request Premier Food Safety will mail a printed hard copy of the certificate at an additional cost.
- Retest must be taken within three months of original exam date.
- No discount is available when purchasing an Exam Code for a retest.
- Per ServSafe’s policy, examinees may take the examination twice within 30 days. If the examinee does not pass on the second attempt, they must wait at least 60 days from the most recent attempt before taking the exam again. No more than four attempts are allowed within a 12-month period.
- To reschedule an appointment, examinees must contact ProctorU directly.
- There is no fee to reschedule an appointment, but an additional fee may apply when scheduling an exam within the following 72 hours

Section 6 - Money Back Guarantee (Instructor-Led Classes)
- If you are not satisfied with the quality of our classroom training, we will refund your money.
- You must notify PFS prior to taking the certification exam to qualify for this guarantee. If redeemed, you will no longer be able to take the certification exam. Once the exam is administered, the money-back guarantee will no longer be valid.
- Valid only for registrations including classroom training and exam.
Section 7 - Lowest Price Guarantee
- We will match any competitor price for similar approved programs.
- Services offered by competitor must include comparable services - ex. length of class instruction, comparable nationally approved exam type a) Prometric or b) ServSafe.
- In the event competitor services are not similar, we may match competitor service offerings and price.
- Customer must provide a copy of written documentation (ex. printed advertisement, flyer, website details) at time of registration to qualify for price match guarantee.
- We reserve the right to verify the competitor's price before issuing price match.
- This guarantee may not apply to private class requests.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Indemnities
Premier Food Safety does not provide any indemnities or warranties, either express or implied, as all content, materials, and services on this site are provided on an "as is" basis.
Limitation of Liability
Premier Food Safety will not be liable for any consequential, indirect, special, or punitive damages. In no event shall the maximum aggregate amount of any potential liability exceed the amount paid for the services provided.
