The restaurant industry is constantly evolving, and trends identified in the National Restaurant Association’s 2015 Restaurant Industry Forecast show that it’s not slowing down anytime soon.

Technology is increasingly important to customers which is an indication that it’s becoming a regular part of the dining experience rather than just being a marketing gimmick. Local sourcing of ingredients is also something customers are interested in, in addition to more healthy menu options.

While it’s important to know what’s going on in the industry, it may be just as important to stay true to the identity of your restaurant and its established customers.
