The build-your-own pizza format of individual pies cooked in superhot ovens was considered the next big thing in the restaurant business. However, the trend appears to have cooled down a bit now.

New menu items are finding there way into convenience stores. One trend you are sure to see is an increase in different sandwiches offered like the Ghost Pepper Chicken BLT coming to QuickChek c-stores, or the Fiery Jack Burger coming to Giant Eagle Getgo. Other hot items include Cilantro Lime Flatbreat, Kolaches, and Bourbon Ball Donuts, just to name a few!

Being a server is a hard job, but there are still things to be thankful for. One example is serving a large party and having it all go on one check and having someone ready to pay the party’s tab. Another example is when people decide not to come and eat when they find out closing time is in just a few minutes. Lastly, it’s always great when a newborn comes in and stays asleep while their parents dine. These are just a few examples of the things servers can be thankful for!
