Don’t take the human out of the restaurant

Technology is completely changing the way restaurants function, and some establishments are decreasing their staff in favor of tablet ordering and payment, and even robot and drone servers. While these changes are futuristic and interesting, consumers want restaurants to know they still value the human side of the experience.

In an industry known for hospitality, the cold glare of the machine doesn’t set right with everyone, even technology-obsessed millennials. While they want to order and pay with technology, they acknowledge the human factor is important, too.
