McDonald’s is continuing to improve its speed via multiple point ordering at the drive-thru. Workers can get the food in your hands more quickly if multiple orders can be taken at a time. Accuracy helps speed, so equipment such as digital headsets and menu boards aid McDonald’s speedy success. Accuracy will continue to improve with mobile ordering and paying through a global mobile app which will be released this year. Orders are generally ready in 17-100 seconds depending upon the number of items ordered. Curbside pick-up will also be available as another option, which was well-received in testing.
