Why you should have a changing table in your restaurant’s men’s room

Studies show that more men are stepping up to the plate when it comes to child care as it becomes more common for women to fill the breadwinner role. Traditionally changing tables have only been installed in women’s restrooms, but could it be advantageous to your restaurant to feature them in your men’s room?

California attempted to pass a bill requiring restaurants to have changing tables installed in both restrooms, but it was decided the issue was better left to individual restaurants to decide on. If your restaurant is family friendly, adding a changing table to the men’s room could be very good for business.

Changing tables are inexpensive, easy to clean, and come in a variety of stylish models. Having one installed in the men’s room will prevent doting fathers from changing their baby in the restaurant itself.
