Consumers are looking for more adventure when it comes to what’s on their plates. They’re focusing on sustainable, organic, fresh, local food both at home and when dining out. Americans with these more selective tastes are also eating out more often.

Supply chain issues are giving food service operators a difficult time, but a focus on local sourcing could be an effective strategy.
