Restaurant diner releases rat, then wants free food

They say there’s no such thing as a free meal, but that doesn’t stop people from trying! Christopher Baker decided to release a harmless pet rat in a restaurant he was already banned from in order to score a free meal. The owner wasn’t buying it when he noticed the rat was likely a pet, and the rat was out of the bag when a security camera caught the release on tape.

Instead of just paying the $11 bill, Baker was fined $90 and ordered to perform community service on top of it.
