Cosi’s Coming Back

The sandwich and coffee chain Cosi has been enduring slipping sales for much of this year, but it might be turning itself around. Cosi reported an increase in sales of .7 percent for period 11 of this year, with most corporate and franchised markets recording sales growth. The chain has also continued its expansion into Costa Rica, opening its sixth location in the country during period 11. Cosy has been finding success with quality PR campaigns, including a social media effort in New York dubbed #feedthecity that incorporated calls to donate to NYC food banks and sandwich giveaways.
