This blind chef is inspiring and unstoppable!

Working with knives probably isn’t the first thing you imagine a blind person doing for a living, but chef Laura Martinez didn’t let that stop her from opening her own restaurant in Chicago!

Martinez was blinded by cancer as a toddler, but she believes her blindness helped fuel her imagination. She enjoyed working with knives and at first wanted to be a surgeon before turning toward the culinary arts.
