Stop sweeping food waste under the rug

Waste is an unfortunate burden for most restaurants, and what you throw away could be severely damaging your profits. This article at Fast Casual highlights some ways you can force your restaurant to face its waste in order to control the situation.

It won’t require a lot of extra effort to stop covering up food waste. Remove garbage disposals so hiding it is no longer convenient, use transparent garbage bags, and/or place food waste in tubs for approval.
