Millennials and technology are arguably the two biggest things changing the way food service businesses operate and what they offer. Grocery restaurants, or “grocerants” are becoming very popular with Millennials because of their convenience and value.

People are eating out more often and they’re looking for convenient, healthy and quick meals. Instead of sitting down at a QSR or hitting up a drive thru, some consumers are opting instead to grab a freshly made sandwich and salad at a Whole Foods diner.

Because Millennials are concerned with healthy, sustainable food and business practices, grocerants are easily able to give the customers exactly what they’re looking for at an affordable price.
