Shake Shack Debuts Kiosk-Only, Cashless Store

Shake Shack is testing a new kiosk-only cashless store model of service delivery in Astor Place, New York City, at a time of falling sales for the company. Using touch screens, customer orders will be sent to the kitchen, and text messages sent to customers once orders are completed. Staff will only be on-hand to assist customers.
