Scheduling, automation, and delivery were leading topics at this year’s NRA Show, which took place from May 20-23 in Chicago. GrubHub, a leading food delivery company, announced a partnership with Oracle Hospitality that allows restaurants to manage deliveries through one device, streamlining the process. In addition, Toast unveiled a new takeout and delivery feature and OpenSimSim introduced a free scheduling tool.
One of the biggest offers came from OpenTable, which teamed up with QSR Automation’s DineTime to allow customers to book reservations at casual-dining restaurants. Thanks to the partnership, consumers will be able to use OpenTable to estimate wait times and add their names to waitlists.
