Hilarious Server Confessions

Serving is not an easy job, and every day is a little different. You never know what kind of customers will come through your doors, and the longer you work in the industry the more stories you have! Recently Shiftgig has asked readers to share their craziest stories anonymously to be shared with the world, and they don’t disappoint!

A waitress named Melissa witnessed an unusual sight when an Indian couple stated they could not consume beef before ordering ribeyes. She told them the steaks were beef, but that’s what they wanted. They proceeded to cut up the steaks, chew the pieces, and then spit them into cloth napkins to be taken away.

Working a late night shift in an 24 hour restaurant has got to be interesting, especially since there’s a good chance you’ll be serving some very drunk customers. Jeni got an eye full when one of her customers was dared to drop his pants and penguin-walk about the restaurant half naked!
