More people are dining out than buying groceries

Consumer trends are fascinating, and they’re also important to watch if you want to keep your marketing efforts up to date (and make more money). Recently grocery stores have seen decreased sales, with more consumers becoming confident diners as the economy recovers.

While the purchase of groceries from larger department stores has also contributed to the decrease in grocery sales, a dramatic rise in restaurant patronage over the last few months has had the biggest influence.
