Jerk and rum and reggae: How Caribbean food went mainstream

The rise of Caribbean-based restaurants across the UK has been noted, as the restaurants have found a way to strike a balance by offering authentic and familiar food yet daring to experiment with new dishes and tastes. These restaurants across the UK have attracted traditional Jamaican customers and newcomers that are eager to taste the notorious cuisine. Even with the increase of Caribbean restaurants across the UK, however, there still remains work to be done to make Caribbean more known on a national and global scale.
