McDonald’s has elevated their chicken welfare standards. A representative at McDonald’s has said that they want animals to be healthier so people can have healthier food. The supply chain is looking to improve animal welfare in their supply chain. This means that there will be new standards for people that raise chickens to be slaughtered. There are going to be many things that are required of the places that give McDonald’s their chicken. Animals will live happier lives.
