Restaurant “Shows More Skin” to Help Women

Servers have to put up with a lot – it comes with the job. Waitresses especially deal with harassment often, and it usually flies under the radar. During Memorial Day weekend, Atomic Grill donated all sales of their loaded potato skins appetizer to the West Virginia Foundation for Rape Information and Services.

Owner Daniel McCawley could have ignored the sexist comment and gone on with his day. Instead, he seized the chance for a great marketing opportunity that generated a lot of positive publicity, and no doubt garnered him some new business too!
